I have been passionate about justice sector reform and the Rule of Law for a very long time. Despite the many criticisms that rule of law development programs receive, and often rightfully so, in the 30 years that I have been working on international legal, business and development programs, I remain optimistic that these programs are a process in the making, and that at the end of the day, they have very many positive impacts that benefit the one and the many, the local citizenry and the international community at large.
Although my work has been more than just justice sector reform, I have written extensively about the Rule of Law. However, seldom have my writings seen the light of day. Nowadays, though, I want to encapsulate through this medium what I like to refer to as my “2-cents”, in the hope that others who share my passion will find my observations of interest and, maybe, useful.
